My first Dog Song

While some of my 150 recorded songs may have been dogs, “Max” is my first song about a dog. An old friend of mine runs a fly-fishing resort in a remote Scottish island. He has a dog he is very fond of, called Maxie. For the sake of scanning, I shortened the name to Max.

Max is the first of three songs I recorded last week and am adding to the site today.

In my experience, the only way we go far in life is to “Go Far Together”. This is the title of my second new song. To overcome our greatest challenge, environmental degradation, after we overcome the relatively small issue of COVID, all reasonable people on the face of the Earth will need to align.

I believe the original teachings of all the major religions of the world provide very sound guidelines for human behaviour. However, I don’t believe that much of the current practice of Christianity is what Jesus had in mind. That may be why the third new song, “Jesus Shine Like Mischief Children” fell out of my subconscious rather unexpectedly.
